My New Year's Resolution was to blog more. So much for that pipe dream. Anyhow, here are a few images from my recent trip to the Dominican Republic.
This lady was begging for money outside one of the churches we were at. I gave her a dollar and she literally started crying. The people in this country are dirt poor. Believe me when I say that nobody in America has anything to complain about...
Another beggar in a church. His name is Samuel and he's about six years old. That's my hat he's wearing. We really hit it off, I think because he's about the same age as my nephew. Could you imagine being six years old and having to beg outside a church just to eat?
Yes, those are bananas and yes, they are on the ground.

Overall, a good trip. Unfortunately, no images from the wedding. Those are going to be a surprise... more to some than others.
